Humphrey Bogart used to spend his summer vacations on Canandaigua Lake. Now that the summer is upon us, you may want to consider taking a weekend trip up north to the Finger Lake Wine Trails. The Finger Lakes is the largest United States wine producing region, outside of California, and it will be a sure thing that you will have a good time.

Located in the heart of the larger Finger Lakes geographical region, the actual viticultural area is centered around four main lakes: Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, and Cayuga. Cheshire Canning got its inspiration from the natural beauty upstate and we recommend a visit.

Sweet Heat

Cheshire Canning brought a bit more ‘heat’ to it’s HoneyHeat ‘Sauce’ at the Lyceum Food and Craft Market on Saturday, May 1st. We are happy to say that we received a great response and may even make hotter batches next time around, as it seems that Brooklyn has a taste for heat. Thanks to everyone who supported us again and we look forward to Taste of Williamsburg/Greenpoint and GFM this month.

HoneyHeat 'Sauce' Arrives in Greenpoint

Cheshire Canning was proud to launch our new product at North Brooklyn's premier aritisanal food fair, the Greenpoint Food Market.

Our overwhelming success means that New Yorkers crave 'sweet heat' down state as well. Swing by, say hi and taste a sample for yourself at the upcoming GFM on May 22nd, 12p-5p.

We are bringing a little of the “Cat” to the big city!

Cheshire, which is a Hamlet of Canandaigua in the Finger Lake region, was our inspiration for HoneyHeat ‘’Sauce’. Using local and fresh ingredients is #1! Tomatoes are hydroponically grown and our honey comes fresh from a local bee keeper.

We began this week preparing for our next food market in Brooklyn, New York on May 1st at the Lyceum Food and Craft Market .
